Integration Kit Quick Start

5 minutes from Fab to your first AI-driven edit.

1. Install from Fab

Open the Nwiro Integration Kit listing on Fab  and add it to a UE 5.5 / 5.6 / 5.7 project. The Kit is a one-time purchase.

2. Enable the plugin

Edit → Plugins → Nwiro Integration Kit → Enable, then restart the editor.

3. Open the panel

Window → Nwiro Integration Kit. The panel is where you manage integrations; no external terminal work required.

4. Install or activate an AI tool

Open Settings → Integrations inside the panel. You’ll see cards for:

  • Claude Code (Anthropic)
  • Codex CLI (OpenAI)

For Claude, install Claude Code normally, then click Download to fetch its supported adapter. When the adapter is ready, click Activate.

For Codex on Windows, make sure Node.js 20+ and npm are available. If no supported Codex runtime is detected, click Install; the Kit installs its pinned official runtime into Nwiro’s per-user directory. A compatible global official runtime can be reused directly. If that global runtime is older than the pinned version, Install Nwiro-managed runtime is available as an optional action that shadows—but never modifies—the global package.

For Codex on macOS, the Codex card is the same as on Windows: click Install to add the official runtime (Node.js 20+ and npm required); it also unlocks GPT-5.6 and GPT-6 Astra.

Once the selected integration is ready, click Activate.

5. Chat and build

The panel turns into a chat UI powered by whichever tool you activated. Ask it anything you’d ask a regular Claude Code or Codex session, now with the full 209-tool Unreal surface available:

Blueprints

List every blueprint under /Game/Characters, then add a Jump input action to BP_Player bound to Space.

Materials

Open M_StylizedWater, lower the Fresnel power by 30%, and push the change to all level instances.

Level editing

Scatter 20 of SM_Pine_01 around the viewport center within a 1500 unit radius, randomly rotated.

Runtime control

Teleport the player to the Vista spawn point and step through the intro sequence manually.

The AI calls the Nwiro tools under the hood; the edits happen live in the editor.
